How to post pictures to the forum

A fair number of people seem to want to know this so I thought I'd write it down:



1. Open an account with Photobucket, Imgur or another online image host of your choice.

2. Upload all of your images to your Photobucket/Imgur account, apart from the ones you don't want anyone to see.

3. If you view an image that you have uploaded, to one side of it (or below it) there should be some 'image codes'... you are looking for the IMG code, it looks like this:

4. Write a message on the forum, if you want to include a picture, take the code from photobucket/imgur and just place it in your message, if you do this an image will appear:

I was going to try and 'sticky' it myself, but I couldn't find the button... doh!

Click the "moderate this forum" link at the bottom of the post
Put a tick by the post you want to sticky
Scroll to the bottom and you've got the option for sticky, announcement, lock thread etc

I only get 'delete, lock and unlock'.... oh well!

I'll take a look at the permissions, it'd be odd if it's an admin only function.

No, it's not too bad really :) It just a really old name from the past that some how stuck.
