[solved]Problem posting in Firefox

Houston, we have a problem - with Firefox

Posting on the forum using Firefox, the menu buttons have gone AWOL and shows a list instead which doesn't do anything.



Works correctly in Chrome

Just had a look on my firefox (latest version) and everything appears fine for me

Mines the latest too, v57.0 Firefox Quantum



Just realised that some options still work but not all

I'm using FF 57.01 as my main browser and all seems ok, are you running Noscript or Adblock? If so it may be worth checking for any blocked items. Has this happened all of a sudden or been going on for a while?

Adblock paused and page refreshed and problem still there.

Haven't posted since FF upgraded to the new faster version.  It is saying it is up to date with 57.0 (on Win 7 32bit) but you're running 57.1 ?? perhaps they are rolling out a fix...

Not a problem I have Chrome so can use that.  I'll keep checking and update if and when it's working again

57.0 64bit is what I checked on and I'm running adblock

Perhaps it's just me.

I've got another laptop, PC and a Win tablet I can check at some point.

At least it's not effecting everybody

I wonder whether it is the 32bit version that has issues, I'm on 57.01 64bit running Adblock plus and Noscript, no issues.

Tried on a win10 32bit tablet and FF u/g to latest 32bit version 57.0 and working normally.

Now on a win7 32bit pc and FF u/g to latest 32bit version 57.0 and working normally.

So I guess the problem is mine alone.

Update:
Back on the original laptop

I shouted at the screen and threatened it with a fate worse than death and all is now working again!

Actually I refreshed Firefox back to factory settings removing all add-ons and settings
