Ignition switch must go! Empty Ignition switch must go!

Project really getting there now, however!......the bike was an 's' model with square headlight mounted in fairing well forward of forks. Fairing now gone to good home to be replaced with round headlight but it has to sit really low to avoid the big clompy ignition barrel. To allow the light to sit higher up the plan is to cut off the ignition barrel and replace it with a hidden toggle switch. Indicators have been replaced with cute little led items so just waiting for a new relay to arrive.

So a productive day today. Cut off ignition switch/barrel allowing headlight to be mounted higher up which now looks much better. Wiring rerouted to small toggle switch under seat. Small holes drilled in electrics tray and all components secured with cable ties. Home made brackets fitted to rear subframe for mounting new indicators. Not much more to do, buy and fit koso multi function guage and finish wiring at front end, fit number plate bracket and new smaller plate (original is enormous). Fit new fuel tap and finish set up (must get a colourtune). Manky wheels came out well after my rattle can paint job. Looking good!
