    TEC Empty TEC

Post by panagiotis Sat 28 Jan 2023, 8:01 pm

    Hello all,

Somewhere in the forum I read that TEC offers rear shock absorbers at 350mm eyebolts center distance
I would like to rise the rear of the bike.
    Last week I ordered them
The service and delivery time was great !
Unfortunately the upper eyebolts of the shocks had a diameter of 10mm instead of 16mm
TEC, the very same day I noted them, returned the  money.

take care, if you go to TEC shock absorbers, to note them, to avoid all this.

    keep safe, drive safe !

Cheers, I had tec shocks on one of my bikes, the 350mm length makes you slide forward in the seat so its odd if you've higher handlebars, otherwise they were pretty faultless, and cheap too. Adjusting them for ride height using the spanner is hard as the little teeth are small and narrow.
However, mine fitted well and I did a few thousand miles before getting some low mileage showas from ebay. I keep the tec's in my spares box in case another project comes my way (unlikely nowadays!).
