MY CB PASSED THE ULEZ TEST! Empty MY CB PASSED THE ULEZ TEST!

    Hi all,

Just to spread the word, I took my CB to

    https://www.uleztesting.co.uk/

in Stevenage to get it tested for ULEZ and it passed first time. This does not mean that every CB will pass because each bike is tested individually, but its a good indicator. My bike has 91k miles on it but has had recent engine work like valve seals and timing chain etc. It scored 0.12 on its NOx emissions with the maximum permitted being 0.15.

If your bike does not pass first time, SDC performance, (which is where the testing is done) can carry out a range of work to get it to pass. Mine required none, but if you are close to passing, there are things that can be done to get you through.

I am sure this information will be of interest to some of you.

    All the best

Amazing!  There's hope left for everyone else!

How much did the testing cost (roughly)?

£175. Pretty steep considering I had 2 bikes to get through. My VFR750 also passed first time so bigger engined carbed bikes seem to not have an issue either. Apparently Hondas in general pass relatively requently.
