    Here peeps i have a CB500X the rear brake is non existent. I have rebuilt the master cylinder and the slave cylinder but still nothing there. I have checked for leaks but can't find any. Anybody had this and found an answer.

    I sold my others but that was silly as i loved them. This x is about half the bike they were. I only bought it as it came with full luggage which i wanted. Any way how are you not talked to you in some time. Joe.

     Hi Joe, I'm still puddlin' along with my 500S. Have it now for 11 years I think. I can't see any point in getting anything newer as the modern 500s all have only learner horsepower ! And cost a huge amount more than I'd want to pay !
