    hello,
if there is the scenario to reject the CB and pick up a new bike, which one you pick up ?
I'm looking in today's bikes, new ones  , the CB500 is just for comparison.

    data comes from https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/

I think any one of them would be fun, however, for me, they all look a little bit heavy compared with a CB500.  My choice would probably be the Guzzi or the possibly the Enfield.

Having said that there is one thing that isn't in your table: the cost of these bikes.  Suddenly the CB500 still looks like a winner: you might be able to get another CB500 for £750: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335054812970 Smile

If I had the money to replace my CB500 I'd choose the Triumph Trident 660

It's similar in size and weight but of course is a modern bike at a modern price.

    really beautiful !!!
with great characteristics and normal motor with normal rpm and compression ratio.

if you remove this water boiler, the today's exhausts, the swing arm pivot and the engine come lower...
euro 5 has destroyed the design of the bikes, the exhausts became 1/2 engine in size...

another player here is the Aprilia 660 tuono also.
