Newbie girlie biker needs it lowered! (recommendations please!)

Welcome to the forum carlsberg.

I have a seat that has been re-sculptured and I would advise if you need to have it done maybe think of adding a gel pad for comfort. Seat re-sculpture will not make any difference to power performance,

Also looking at "shorty shocks" as I don't think the seat will be enough with the current Hagons fitted (tried lifting the seat up & sitting on it...no good!).

and a belated welcome along. I'd say give Hagon a call, let them know what you are after i.e, shorter shock, 2 up riding,
they will be able to help. Might be worth getting their front springs
too.
They do shorter-than-standard shocks and might be able to re- work yours with a shorter spring. The suspension should feel the same after this mod. However, it would be worth dropping the forks through the yolkes a bit (say 5mm) so the bike still feels balanced.

Hi,
I'm 5'1", so have taken some foam out of the seat, fitted shorter Hagon shocks, and dropped the forks through a bit, and with my Ladystars boots I can now flat foot, and this gives me a bit of lee way to adjust the shocks if I want to. I just called Hagon with the length I wanted and went and picked them up, but I do live down the road from the factory!
