Part No 5 is the Brake Pad Hanger. I'm trying to find the two slide pins that are not numbered.

Contacted Dave Silvers this is the reply
Hi ,
Brembo calipers were a problem as they never seemed to list slider pins or pad shims . Unfortunately the only way to get them is with a new caliper which we do not stock . We can order them in at retail price .
I' am now really stuck anyone know who to contact at Brembo

Re: Brembo Front Caliper Sliders
Given the (probably) astronomical price of a new caliper, it might be cheaper to get some 'new' ones made by a local engineering company... how bad are your existing ones?

They are reasonably pitted as you would expect for a bike ridden through the last 12 winters. I will probably replace the bike next year as its getting towards the end of its economical life.
Thanks for your help

Re: Brembo Front Caliper Sliders
Seems a shame to bin it just for that.
There are some on ebay, like this one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-cb500-front-brake-caliper-with-new-pads-/251163887542?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3a7a88c7b6
Don't know what it will go for, or how corroded the pins are, but it might be worth a look.

Brembos website: http://www.brembo.com/en/bike/replacements/Pages/distributors.aspx
They say that Bike Torque are their UK parts distributor: info@biketorqueracing.co.uk has to be worth a shot
I'm a bit surprised at Brembo for not having better parts support!
If its really important to you, you could always fit a nissin caliper and master cylinder. They have every part still available, pins and all. I would be surprised if a clean up, lubrication and new boot wouldn't keep your existing caliper working perfectly for years to come though

E-mailed Brembo Dealer a week ago I have received no response. I would certainly think twice before buying Brembo products in the future due to there lack of support.

Re: Brembo Front Caliper Sliders
It doesn't make a great deal of difference if the pins are pitted; clean them up with a wire brush, replace the rubber boots if necessary as these are available as a spare and smother them with copper slip.
Mine have been like it for a few years and after having had the front brake seize on me and warp the disc I now make it a yearly job of stripping the caliper down and regreasing the sliders.
