suspension upgrades
Hi All
what sort of suspension upgrades are common on the cb5?
I figure i will get hagons for the rear, so im wondering mainly about the front. I was thinking about cartridge emulators or possibly a simple fork swap, ever hear much/anything about this being done?

Re: suspension upgrades
I have hagon rear shocks and also hagon uprated springs up front.
Seems to work for me,and the race lads use the same set up so it can't be that bad.

Re: suspension upgrades
How do you find the hagon fork springs, was there much improvement in handling?
I think the race guys do use the standard hagon stuff, but they arent allow to upgrade their bikes otherwise im sure they would be rocking the ohlins
I think cartridge emulators are the best upgrade you can put in damper rod forks, but im not sure if it would be necissary really

Re: suspension upgrades
Hagon multirate front springs, slightly heavier fork oil (have to check, but 10w I think) and Hagon shocks at the back.
Massive, massive difference, especially at the front.

Srings..?
For my trip bike (CB500to Africa) I had Hagons at the rear (fitted with 20kg springs at no extra coast) to take the weight.......and up front, fitted Hagon progressive springs (but BMW K100's) which were a fraction stiffer than CB500's, and fitted straight in..... all worked perfectly for me, fully overloaded .
Re: suspension upgrades
Hi,
Any news? Is Hagon still the way to go?
Does anyone have experiences on Wirth progressive fork springs?

Antti
