Home with my CB500S
Got home last night with the bike and was I cold after 150 miles despite looking like the Michelin man with 5 thermal layers on Just had a real good look over the bike and there is no rust, two tiny scuffs and that is it. It has really been well looked after which is an incentive to carry on the good work! Washed all the salt and dirt of it this morning and put anti corrosion stuff on (gritting lorry went past on the motorway, it was like being hit with shotgun pellets not that I have ever been shot with shotgun pellets) it was covered in sticky dirt and grit from the motorway.
The only problem I have now is that the weather means that I can't go out and play which is rubbish.
Everything that I have read about the bike so far has been true, easy to ride and quick enough for me. Can't wait to get back out!!

Yep, it was/is cold.
Glad to hear you got it home in one piece.
Unfortunately there was no incentive to look after my CB5 - it was in a state when I got it!
