Meeting up

Will there be an official CB500 rally or do? It would be nice to meet you all.

I'd be there - if it's not a million miles away from Gatwick...

I think it'd have to be somewhere central so the Scottish and northern folks could make it. I'm in Suffolk, but happy to ride wherever.

I really would like to meet you lot! I've owned many bikes and been involved with lots of different forums, but this bike is the only one I've ever had that I can see staying with me forever. It'd be nice to meet people who also feel strongly about this modest little bike.

I'm definitely up for it! Need to get the tyres changed before I do any more long trips though.

Me to any time after 6th of October would be great as im away! ! But would love to meet everyone and also to thank everyone thats helped and finally to say sorry for sounding like a muppet lol

meet ups were a big thing on the "old" forum and it worked best with the Southern lot meeting at the  Ace cafe, the midlands lot at Stratford on Avon and other meets were more sporadic. After a coffee/brekfast most revolved around the best bendy route home so everyone went their separate ways along the route.

I'd propose a Matlock Bath meet up with the aim of staying there for the meet up and riding home whichever bendy route suits.

Anyone coming from south-ish is welcome to stop for a tea at mine, just of J11 M40.
