As you can see mine is broken as it was when i got the bike several weeks ago. I glued it but that only lasted a few weeks.

Hi,
these are made of monkey metal and don't go well with repairs. I've tried welding and glueing with no success. You'll need a new one really and iirc about £30 from dealers/Dave Death

But why do they break? Yeah the metal is crap and the fact there only bolted on one side doesn't help.
I thought when i got the bike the previous owner must of been slamming the seat down to break it but now i think it could be seat movement putting strain on the part.
