Not a Honda, but a 500 twin
Hi,
anyone remember the ol Yamaha xs500 from the 70'? Mate of mine has got one he's doing up, looks a solid retro thing.
Seems the oil filters are hard to come by so anyone know where to get old Yam spares from (tried Wemoto, Yambits, ebay).

Here you go. This may help in regards to oil filters.

Just my style, those. Wouldn't mind owning one at some point - but don't see many, and have never knowingly seen one in the metal either. Guy I speak to up at seaways has got the old xs650 though. Unmolested as well. Heavy bleeder, and makes a frightening grinding sound when starting - but keeps on going.
