I know what you mean, but it barely gets ridden anyway and it has begun to upset me that it looks so shabby. Bodged repairs to the rear mudguard, done when it fell off on the way to work one day in 1987 still not properly addressed, the attempts at a re spray carried out in a fit of youthful enthusiasm when I was 15, the wrong forks fitted because I bent the originals falling off it, all need putting right. All I does now is sit in the garage, I'd like to be happy at it's appearance and be able to use it periodically without worrying about it deteriorating further.
