Brake Fluid Reservoir Empty Brake Fluid Reservoir

    Post by Scorgie88 Sat 26 Jul 2014, 7:51 pm

    Hello!

I need to get my hands on a front brake fluid reservoir for my 2002 cb500s but I can't seem to find one. I've looked on ebay, wemoto, and david silva but had no luck.

Any ideas as my current one is leaking brake fluid to the detriment of my paint work.

As always, thanks for your help!!

Try entering cb500 master cylinder or brake master cylinder on ebay. There's one one there now for a 2002 I can't get a link on my mobile for you.

Where is it leaking from? It might just need a new master cylinder kit kit - http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB500S2-SPORT-2002/part_75427/

Lings Honda parts, whilst not cheap, list pretty much everything down to washers and seals. I'd do you a link if I wasn't on my phone. Easy enough to find via google.

Stooby2 - It's leaking from the top, where the 'lid' is. I had to have it drilled out a few months ago because the screws were rotten and it's not fit properly ever since.

And Glen Wilson - Could you get me a link please? I can't find it on ebay!

    Thanks guys!

    Have a look here:

    Lings

Like I said, not cheap, and available as a complete assembly only, but at least you can get the part number to use in google.

    Here's one on ebay:

That's what I've seen too. If it's just the top part I'm sure you can buy them separately
