New Owner - West Sussex

Hello all,


Bought my CB500 a few weeks ago. Went to my local bike shop (20 miles away so not that local!) and bought new filters, oil, plugs etc.

Settled down to give her the once over and a decent service. Bikes done 59,000 miles and used to be a riding school mule before the lady I bought her off had her. She had been sitting in her garage for the last 3 years.

Drained the still straw coloured oil out, spark plugs looked new, air filter was still shiny. Seems I wasted my time and money. Internal condition is like new!

So she's had all new of the above with the 'used' old stuff stored away as spairs. Now I hope she can take me and the Mrs through Europe many a time, commute on a regular basis and be a little more reliable than my old Ducati Monster!
