Standard rear shocks
Hey,
The CB I bought has some aftermarket-extra-damn-short rear shocks on it as the lady before me was verging on a midget.
Does anyone out there have any standard shocks for sale or willing to swap?
Or is there anywhere I can buy standard shocks but not at silly prices. Ive been quoted over £100 for em and I ony paid £450 for the bike!
Hoping that there is quite a big difference in the height as Its pretty cramped atm. Is there any way of lowering the pegs or raising the seat etc?
Thanks in advance

Re: Standard rear shocks
I just had a quick look on ebay, there's a fair selection on there.

Watch out cos they've listed the old 70's CB5 as well!

Anything from 93 to 01 will fit fine. Its the 70's bikes you have to avoid

Re: Standard rear shocks
Actually thinking about it, I replaced my original shocks with Hagons a few years ago. I've still got the originals (somewhere!!) so if you can wait a few days I'll see if I can dig them out (assuming SWMBO hasn't "tidied" them! )
The chrome is very tatty but they had no leaks & they're standard size.
