Happy New Year
Happy New Year to all cb500 club memebers. safe riding in 2011.
Hope to finally get my beast on the road soon, gonna try and get it fired up and tootle off out and about locally on sunday, all i gotta do is start her up. Had a play with the choke today,it seemed to be seized . Tried to do my plugs but it started getting darker at 3 over here, and as you all know, they are a bit awkward to say the least. Battery is fully charged and waiting to install, then we see how we go.
Been a few years since i rode, used to have a cb750 four K6 which was ace and i loved it. The cb500 is a bit of a project/get back into it bike.
All the best
Dave

Happy new year to everyone!
You say the choke is siezed - if the temperature where-ever you are is similar to here (5 - 7 degrees C) you might well be able to get away without it, especially if your battery is fully charged.
Anyway, happy new year to everyone!
