Ive just been reminded about a problem after reading another thread.
Basically my seat doesnt lock down, ive lubed it all up and checked the latch returns over whe  the seat is off. But as soon as the seat is on (which does go all the way down) and the lock is vertical, it can just be lifted off as it hadnt latched.
is this conmon? Its really annoying as I cant store anything of value under my seat!

Maybe the latch isn't going down quite far enough. You could shim it up.
