Hi,

Being a bit of a tart I pushed the boat out and on Pro-Bolt's recommendation of the correct one ordered a Ti Top Nut bolt.... for the 3rd time now with various other parts what they recommended and what I actually need are annoyingly different.

They recommended M22 x 1.00mm (30mm socket Size) and but this is incorrect - I think the correct one is M24 x 1.00mm (30mm socket Size) but can anyone confirm???

I fitted the old one back on and am loathed to take it off just to measure. The only other one Pro-Bolt have available is M25 x 1.00mm (36mm socket size) but I'm pretty sure it isn't that.

Probolt did exactly the same thing to me. Watch out for the wrong filler cap bolts, too. The same cap has been used on various Honda machines since at least 1991.....

I can't find my bloody calipers, but I'm inclined to agree on M24 X 1.0mm 30mm nut. I bought three different sized spanners before finally checking the bloody parts book!

Thanks, I ordered an alloy M8 bolt awhile back and even came in a pack stating 'M8' after about an hour of frustration it only occurred to me that maybe the contents didn't match the packet - sure enough was a M10 but in replacing it I did get one of their funky bolt measuring tools free.

Nice products though - ally bolts are sh!te but look nice, can't believe they sell them for engine bolts I wouldn't use them for anything that needed to be anything more than finger tight apparently they will only take 5nm max which is why I stumped up the extra for Ti on the yoke nut - just wouldn't trust it otherwise.
