Whatever you got. Oily greasy waxy stuff. Neetsfoot oil, dubbin, even black shoe cream is good to restore colour. Connoly's leather cream is really good stuff, but dear. I like to use Dales Black Dubbin now and then, gives it colour too.

I put some leather balsam on it this morning see how that goes, I used to put leather oil on my jackets a few years ago that  seemed to work but made them smell after a bit

    What basil said, but...

You don't want to put dubbin (or similar) on it *too* often or it will soften the leather too much, an occasional application is fine.

I'm using Bone dry NZ for all my leather gear. Works a treat.

That's what I do! Yesterday evening I had to ride 25 miles through occasional rain, sleet and snow. I had my leather on and wasn't soaked when I got home.
