swingers bolt cover
Hi there, new to site, just bought S model in black, cracking bike so far but need a swingarm bolt cover, the little round thing in chrome, have one missing plus a clutch leaver in a sort of browny grey colour, don't know how else to describe it, any joy, thanks sam

Hi Sam,welcome to the site, I don't have the swingarm bolt cover as there wasn't any with the bike when I got it (if it had then I would have kept them myself). I'll pm you a few picks of the lever in the morning although it may be best to get a new pair from ebay for about £15

Re: Loads of parts
Thanks for that, I have one cover and the other is available from honda at about £11, seem hard to find secondhand, don't quite know why but there you go, only seem to be able to find either black or silver levers on eBay and wanted to keep the same look as it was originally if possible, but this is also seeming a lot harder than it should be, if yours is the correct colour send me pics as i will have it, thanks sam

Re: Loads of parts
There have been topics on this site about the swing arm bolt cover and the conclusion is that tube end caps in black, of the appropriate size for less that £2 the pair on ebay is the way to go. (Unless you insist on shiny stuff, then pay the Honda prices!!)
People who have used these may chip in to give the correct size to order.

Re: Loads of parts
The brownish lever is the original Brembo one. It should have a 'B' embossed on it.
I think I may have one in my spares pile - I'll check.

Re: Loads of parts
that would be brilliant thanks, I have checked and the brake leaver has the 'B' on it but the clutch leaver has nothing embossed but is a perfect colour match. Its the clutch leaver i'm after. thanks for your efforts, sam

I have a couple of those on my bike and they look ok, the size of them is 45mm or 1 3/4 inches and I think they were £1.69 so not too badly priced compared to the original Honda chrome ones

Re: Loads of parts
Sam, here is my spare clutch lever. It doesn't have a B stamped on it, but it is the right colour. In retrospect, i think it may have just been the front brake that had the B, as it was made my Brembo.
Looking at my bike, the clutch lever doesn't have the B, but the brake lever does.
Let me know if you want it.

Re: Loads of parts
Wish you had a centre stand.
I had to cut my old frame just to remove it all in 1 big siezed solid piece.
I'm not sure if I should pick up a new one or try and get the old one together in some way.

Nope sorry. Although you can get a used OE one for £3-4 on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221215163419 do NOT get a Chrome / Red Horn one that's advertised as they stop working and rust stupidly easily, mine didn't last more than 4 months of winter riding.
