    Dog Carrier Empty Dog Carrier

Has anyone made/bought a dog carrier that either sits on the tank or on the rear seat/top box mount? My dog is about the size of a westie, so maybe too big for the tank.

I'm being made redundant in June and am thinking of going touring in Europe for a month or so with my redundancy money before I knuckle down to a job again and would like to take my dog with me rather than leave him in a kennel all that time.

    Regards,

I believe you'll also need a pet passport.

I think you're right, but need to see if I can find a way to get him on the bike first.

well this is a little steep

i would go with the dog on the rear seat, and get a good well made cage maybe this
,then lots of straps going on the lowest bar or floor of the cage to the grab rails

would look at good ratchet straps
and maybe some wind protection for the little dog  Laughing "coat ?"
and you could also cable-tire some thick plastic to the cage so that it keeps the wind out  as your riding

nice idea from youtube with an old topbox

I'd say ensure that he can face forwards and can see if not then I suppose he'll get travel sickness.
