Newbie from Northern Ireland
Hi Folks ,
recently came across this site ,after having a look at all the great info decided to join ,have just picked up my second CB500 having covered around 70,000 on my previous one which I managed to crash being a bit to enthusiastic through a set of bends on a wet road , anyway a bit of good came out of it as I now have a year 2000 CB500 with just over 4000 miles I picked up for £1400.00 .
Last CB took me all over Europe and hope to carry on the tradition with my new (to me) one .
Loved my previous CB , did all I ever asked of it which included crossing the Alps in snow , dodging mad Italian drivers in Naples and getting me to and from work 5 days a week .
Ride safe everyone and errr ease off the throttle through those "s" bends on wet days
Billy.

Hey Billy wouldn't suppose it's either a yellow cb500s or a blue cb500 you have is it?

Hello Mate ,
yes bang on ,a blue naked one from a very nice man in Bradford , it was on Ebay . flew over and rode it back , thought the handling was a bit crappy until I realised it was still on the original tyres !!!!!!!!!.
Just came on a couple of days after I had crashed mine ,so worked out really well , only done 4080 miles when I picked it up .
No service history with it so I've just changed the coolant , oil&filter , brake fluid and plugs , as for all I know it could have all been original !!!!!!!!!.
Just need to change the tyres now ,
Billy

Welcome Billy, you got that for a great price with only 4K on it! You'll have to put a couple of photos up!
