Hey guys. New to the forum. Just bought a '94 cb500 yesterday. It's been lying up for a couple of years,so I'm giving it a service. Stripped the carbs off lastnight to clean them. One of the fuel/air screws was damaged so couldn't get a screwdriver to fit. Managed to cut a slot in it to remove it. Both screws were at three full turns out. This seems alot to me.
Anyone know what the stock spec is for these?.
Also it's got a jama silencer, not sure if this is standard.
    Thanks

Welcome to the forum . It's a bit quiet on here ATM. However questions usually get answered eventually. What part of Ireland are you ? Co.Down - me.

2.5 turns out is the factory setting,  so it's not too far out.

Thanks for the reply. I'm based in Donegal. Have the bike back together now and seems to run well on 3 turns out. If it ever stops raining I'll get it out for a test run and then turn screws back in half a turn if need be. 👍
