Hi from Aland
Hi there lads and lasses,
I learned how to ride on my black '98 CB500, twin cyl. It's funny because you get them here, Sweden particularly, but I'm in Finland now, for the asking, and still it's such nice a bike. I've got a heavier bobber as well, >2x cc, but it feels like the Honda is No 1 - despite what ppl say - always there for me and by now I know the gist of the mechanical basics.
You all drive safely, always two wheels on the ground mind you, and no wheelie popping !

Re: Hi from Aland
CB500 is always no. 1 :)
I've ridden other bikes, some of which have been a lot of fun to ride, however the CB500 is very good compromise of weight, power, riding position etc such that it is pretty good at everything with the added bonus that it doesn't go wrong too often and if it does you can probably fix it!
EDIT: You should send us a picture of your bike at home in some Nordic landscape ;)
