North-west meet-up

Anyone up for meeting for a ride somewhere in North-west England or North Wales sometime this summer? I live in Chester now and I'd love to spend an afternoon on some good roads with some fellow CBers  

Im not far from you bud in Ellesmere port, sounds interesting. Would be good to get out w some fellow CBers!
The horse shoe pass is a good run w a great cafe there too.

Count me in. I'm away next week till Friday then away 17th till 21st August for a week after that I'm all good! Would be a good laugh.

Wales would be a good run I did a run to Barmouth,  betsy and Bala the other week with another cb rider on here.

I work strange shifts just looking at my rota and the only weekend day ive got off in Aug after this weekend is Saturday the 9th then ive got to wait till September the 7th(sun), 13th and 14th(sat,sun) for another weekend off.

Im up for anywhere, would like to see some new roads places

Shall we provisionally say Sunday 14th September then? Despite being the one who posted this I'm actually also fairly busy this month. Early autumn often has some of my favourite biking weather anyway...

We could meet somewhere between us all (maybe Knutsford services). Exchange numbers before hand avoid missing meet.
Im really near jchess so might be a good idea meet up first then catch up w you Glen.

In the meantime, I've identified two bits of road that should DEFINITELY be on our route: A494 from Mold to Ruthin, and then B5105 from Ruthin to Cerrigydrudion. The latter especially is incredible. Also A5104 from Corwen back to Chester is good. Some sort of loop including these and the Horseshoe pass would be great. Any other ideas?

im easy I can meet up anywhere dont mind Knutsfords not far just give me a road or postcode and i should find it. think ill have to get out this saturday ive not been out for about 3 weeks!!

Lads. I'm very sorry to say that I've had to accept a job on Sunday 14th, the day we were planning to go for a NW CB5 jaunt. I work freelance in recording and can't say no to any jobs at the moment!

Is the following Sunday any good for you?

Following Sunday might be ok for me.

My off days the following week are Friday and Saturday so couldn't make Sunday.
