Sorry to raise this old chestnut again.

I've got a pair of hand guards from WeMoto (£9),but can't figure out how to fit them . If anyone has done it could they please explain it to me

Please don't use any big words I've not been well lately .........

I got the same guards and fitted them using the bolts holding the levers on.
I think they needed cutting a bit but they stayed on for my trip to Belgium and are still on now.
I have put some tie wraps round one just to keep it away from the front brake.

Hi Murray thanks for your reply.

When you say you used the bolts holding the levers on , do you mean the "fulcrum" bolts holding the levers in the brackets? I tried that and the bolts weren't long enough.

Yes those were the bolts I used although they are a bit short they do the job.I will try get some pics up tomorrow if I get chance.
The guards themselves are very good in use, they really keep the majority of the cold wind off my hands.

Pedro
I have looked at my guards and noticed I have cut a slot in the guard and just used the top of the bolt to hold the guard in place the bottom slot goes around the nut.
The guards feel as though they are loose but in actual use they never move but I have strengthened the fit with a small cable tie just to stop the guard from coming back on the lever.
I don't have my camera to hand at the moment but will take a pic later.
