Link Pipe
Hi,
I could do with replacing my silencer but downpipes are OK. (ish!).
Is there a place I can get a link pipe so I can use any 51mm can? Or will a standard can fit straight on to the downpipes.
Cheers

Re: Link Pipe
Easiest option is to go to a shop that works in stainless pipe, get them to put a collar on the end and bend it to shape, then You can crack on with whatever.can you like.
The biggest advantage.over buying a premade one is that you can have the end can wherever you.like. I will be doing this as soon as I've got the electrics on mine sorted and will have the end can up by the rear seat for more ground clearance.
...not to mention it will be considerably cheaper...

Thanks G3o - there is a place just round the corner from me that works with stainless pipe - I'll see what they say.
