Front brake playing up
Hi,
looks like I've an air bubble in my front brake then - lever generally has more travel than I'd like, sometimes comes on with small amount of play, other times needs more travel. Bike stops ok but as its variable time for a sort out.
Plan is to change fluid, clean out caliper + pads (newish ones). Btw, hose is goodridge, caliper is brembo, so is master cyl, pads are ebc.
Anyone else had this or think of any other spannering that might resole?
cheers

Re: Front brake playing up
Sounds like a good plan.
I assume that you've already tried the 'tieing the brake on overnight' trick?

Yep, no joy with that one !
Bled the system earlier and a few small bubbles. Will test that tomorrow and if not fixed, caliper time.

Could be the caliper piston seals if you've done all the bleeding; I think as you say replace the fluid for starters!

Yep, seals next if its still not right. Fiddly but easy one, good excuse for a clean too. Mot in a couple of weeks so best get on with the evening spannering, great the clocks are changing.
