new mirrors
ive gone through a few sets of mirrors recently for one reason and another but wanted to draw attention to these, my latest.

I've only had them a few days but they seems fantastic for the money. I had to drop the brake and clutch levers down a little to get the viewing angle i needed but im totally used to that now. They take an an allen to tighten which i much prefer to the wrenching the last set needed, the mirrors still have great visibility when they're pivoted up directly north for filtering which greatly reduces the width of the bike and they work at speed. 10/10
my last set were these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-OF-BLACK-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-BIKE-UNIVERSAL-REAR-VIEW-MIRRORS-10mm-FITMENT-/310967485235?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item48671b4333
seemed ok at first but they got nothing on the new set...6.5/10
and lastly i got this too, its that time of year again. bit of a fud to get on and off but makes me feel a bit more seen, cheap and well made bit of kit.

Re: new mirrors
Love the new mirrors, got a pair very similar but with indicators built in, haven't had a chance to try them yet, bike in bits atm.

Re: new mirrors
These mirrors are too fragile, I like the design and generally run them flipped up 90 degrees all the time ( gives a really clear viewing angle ) however, they are way too fragile. My neighbour broke the first one, not sure how, and I clipped the gate coming into park and its knocked the tension right out of the pivoting mechanism. Temped to dump some glue in them and see if they hold. Probably wouldn't buy them again to be fair. Hope you have better luck with yours Jonnytub

Re: new mirrors
These are really strong and have not broken even though they have been treated very roughly. They cost more though.

Thats a pity if you are. Only seen this topic now thought they looked pretty sweet! Was thinking of picking up a pair but I wont bother if there as fragile

Re: new mirrors
yeah im afraid so AF. If your not filtering and wedging your bike through narrow doorways you might be fine as they're pretty solid until you bump them.

Re: new mirrors
Threw my shitty bar end mirrors in the bin ( they lasted all of 3 days - i don't think i could ever get used to glancing that far down to see behind me, it was taking me too long to process the view from the tiny mirrors and with renthals they make the bike about as wide as it is long - no use for filtering
Thought I'd try one last set of cheap mirrors and these seem the sturdiest so far -
