trackday brandshatch 28th October.

It's been on my to-do-list for way too long and after reading jchesshyres post about his experience at oulton park I decided to booked into the novice session at brandshatch 28th October. Would be great to see some other cb'ers there too!

probably a fruitful time of year to snag some end of season gear from ebay. i bought a dainese 1 piece thats got some battle scars for £50, i can barely fit into it but its enough to get started.

i'd do it but its too far away. its one track i havent done yet.

well that was the tits! best fun I've had on my motorbike yet. started off thinking I maybe wasn't cut out for track riding but a couple of sessions in and I was dragging my pegs round (after jacking them up 50mm from standard) and doing my fair share of overtaking some expensive 600's daytona's etc. The ebay dunlop tires were superb, running 30/30psi on recommendation from the tire specialist, scrubbed every last mm of the tire but still didn't get my knee down, yet! Met a couple of great guys too, one on a f800gs and the other on a gt1000, we made up the non-sports bike proportion of our group, was great to meet folks out for some fun on their road bikes, there was even another cb5 ripping it round in another group. Would be cool to try and do a cb5 trackday meet up next year? Will hopefully get some pics up from the photographer in a few days.

CB500 track day meetup would be so awesome! I could load up the CB with camping gear, drive halfway up the country unload the gear and track it! Would be a hell of laugh.

I booked in for another one at brands if anyones interested, 18th June, its aimed at beginners and you can purchase any 4 of the 20 minute sessions for £30 a pop. I'm skipping the first morning session but doing the other three.

That looks like a really good way of going about a track day, booking the individual sessions. What company did you book it through?
