Only suggestion would be replacing the entire exhaust with a stainless steel fuel/motad combo. It would stand out against the blackness in a nice way. But that's just me.

My cb500, 1997 model, left it pink when I over take bikes, it's funny, got pipe worx, simmi end can, renthel flat bars, ranthal grips, small ref, small indys front and back and also buying 14 front tooth sprocket for better pick up, owned loads of bike and still have a z750 and cb500 is so good to ride once set up, also after rear shocks standard are way to soft

A bit of investigation with google's image search has located @gopher's bike though on a croatian forum.  

that could be good with some custard on it , when I was looking on yahoo mail about an hour ago I noticed some adverts for a cb5 that is on uk fleabay and all the text was in a foreign language

haha, yeah we both stayed on  She rides bikes herself (mainly track days), so she isn't afraid

Thanks  Was my first track day, and my first knee down lol. Only brought leathers the week before  
Itching to get back, even if it is a 1000cc track, I had amazing fun! I don't know if you recall my earlier posts from a couple years ago, but stunt riding is my main discipline, so this was all new to me. Only ever had two road bikes, and both been CB500s!!! Someone last week said I should be a sales rep for them, the amount I bang on about them! Great bikes!!
