euragh! that's awful - from the overspray in one of the pics it looks like the red was sprayed in situ

Ha ha! Yeah, I saw that. I thought I'd wait and see if anyone else comments first. Apart from that horrid paint, it looks alright.

Well..... It's only 100 miles away and I do seem to have a thing about green PC26s*.
*some drum-braked CB500s were stamped as PC32. These are the first of the Italian-built machines using parts made in Japan. Supposedly rare, but there's fuggin' loads of 'em about; I've got two!

Yeah already seen that. Wtf was the rationale there? An act of revenge by an ex partner? An attempt to give new meaning to the term she's got the painters in? Or simply the result of a paranoid schizophrenic at play? We may never know. However one thing is certain - that shade of red and green should never be seen, to quote Hyacinth Bucket.

That's almost exactly what my wife said when I showed her that bike!

I think a traditional navy blue would've been far more complementary. Please solicit the opinion of your better half before application though. Also, do not attempt to replicate the seller's brush work - such a rustic finish can only really be truly accomplished by the master craftsman.

Oh, you can be sure of that, but I shall take heed

The link still works. I've got it in my watch list. It ends in 24hrs and has had no bids up from an optimistic (with that bloody red paint) £499.
