piaggio liberty 125 vin location

anyone know where the id numbers are on the piaggio liberty scooter? I found a sticker inside the under-seat compartment but can't see the chassis one. And F*K NO! I'm not buying one. I just want to check if its recorded stolen. Anyone aware of a website to check this for free?

Chassis number is stamped onto a plate attached to the frame on the off side above the cooling fan cover.

As for checking if it's recorded stolen, you could try the DVLA I suppose. At the very least they'll tell you if the numbers match the bike.

cheers ashcroc, i still cant find it though  - doesn't look like its been ripped off from anywhere either. not sure why they've made it so difficult to find....
