so this my problem my 2000 cb500s was crashed and the Left fork leg was totaled i swapped both for a cbr250r fork its 37mm and fit my budget.. does a hondacb500 have a fork brace?!  nut sure if my bike is safe for sporty ridding

I'm not sure what you mean by fork brace?

The closest thing to a fork brace it has is the metal bracket inside the mudguard.

The metal bracket is indeed a fork brace. Not a pretty one granted but you'll  miss it if it's not there.

Never seen a fork brace for the cb5, just the relatively flimsy insert under the front mudguard. Doesn't seem to bother the racers though.

I'd have one for the look though and due to the flimsy oe one as I take the bike up tracks/around fields occasionally.

did you have success with the cbr 250 forks ? need to replace mine, be nice to know if these are an option

yes and no... i had to stiffen them up, and use the cbr caliper butit works fine and the bike looks a bit more modern. i would recommend just going to something bigger
