I have found my front right hand fork slider is badly scored where the top bush sits - but the bush is not marked? Need to replace the slider but will take a fork if the slider is unavailable separately. Also willing to take a set if each fork is not available separately from a seller. I am NOT a Nigerian prince and have real gold (pounds) to pay for items Very Happy .

Hi mate, what do you mean by fork slider? Do you mean the bottom part of the suspension?

Yes, the part the stanchion (the chromed part) slides up and down inside of. There is a dust seal fitted on the top through which the stanchion (Haynes calls this the fork tube) passes and on the bottom is a machined hole through which the front wheel axle passes. There is also a little bolt on the outside of the leg which was to drain the oil (only on the "R" model - as mine is).

I have a complete set, they are damaged, as the stanchions are slightly bent but the bottom bit is in very good condition, and are polished.
You can have them.
Make me an offer and it is yours, you can have them both.
I will add some photos today.

Sounds good, there is a pair on the bay of evil but trying to avoid them. I will have a look at the pictures (once I receive them) and make you a offer via PM. Heading off to bed as up early tomorrow to ferry the kids around for Remembrance Parades. Will be in touch tomorrow.............
