Front Forks lowers not meeting at the front wheel

Evening Chaps,


Just done my head race bearings, was a bind.

Everything going back in now but can't seem to get the fork lowers to meet close enough on front wheel resulting in a large space (in my mind between the speedo drive and N/S fork). See below 

Would people mind having a butch to see if their's are similar?

That's not normal.
Undo the axle pinch bolt seen on the right of your image, the fork should realign against the speedo drive.

doesn't seem to do it unfortunately, still a large gap as before.

Did the fork seals a while back and ran one of the inner sanctions on glass and could feel a slight wobble/bend, may have got worse since then.

Any one else can confirm this is isn't right/doesn't look right?

Mine is exactly the same, albeit muckier so I wouldn't worry too much.
