Re: heated gloves
Are they for use on the bike?
I think Gerbing are the brand - they have a lifetime warranty (they also do non-bike heated things).
If you are going to use them on the bike then go for ones that plug in to the bike (rather than battery ones) - the annoyance of the batteries running out is more than the annoyance of having a wire!

Re: heated gloves
I have Gerbing heated gloves. They have been reliable in all weathers for a couple of years now. I feel my hands get cold easily and I have never had to set them higher than medium even on long hauls in UK winter temperatures. They basically solved the problem of cold hands all together for me. I do have them wired to my bike though. There are pockets/options for batteries but like ET said cons can outweigh pros on that one.

I have just thought slightly harder about that - if you had more than one bike I can see why you might want the battery ones - plus I realise that putting 2 sockets on 2 bikes might be more annoying.

It is just a small piece of wire running from the battery to a single connector that you'd need two of. The control unit and cables to the gloves stay in my jacket. I connect that to the bike at the bottom of the jacket then connect the gloves at the sleeves of the jacket. If you're on and off your bike a lot in your day I can see how it'd be a bit of a pain but for long hauls it's great. I did think about mounting the control unit and cables to the bike itself to reduce the amount of connecting each time from 3 to 2 but haven't attempted that yet.
I guess with batteries you could use them on your push bike too : )
