Winter gloves

I am looking out for a good pair of winter gloves but have a few criteria. They need to cost around about £100 and need to keep my hands as warm as possible in sub zero temperatures. I use the bike until the end of November in the North East of Scotland and most mornings there is a frost on the road (in autumn and winter) to give you an idea of what the temperature is like. I used to use heated grips which keep your palms warm but the rear of my hands and fingers that get far too cold to make motorcycling enjoyable. I see the Richa Artic textile gloves are on sale at sportsbikeshop but they seem to have mixed reviews. Any good recommendations from you worthy gentleman would be greatly appreciated................!!

One other criteria is that they need to be waterproof as I seem to live in what seems to be one of the wettest parts of the UK.

I use ski gloves for the coldest weathers (<5°C).

I took the warmest I could find from decathlon with separate fingers: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/free-500-gloves-mens-brown-id_8371101.html , I use silk undergloves when it's really cold and I've driven with it several hours in freezing mist, I would't say I was warm but my hands didn't freeze if I took a break every hour to warm up a bit. They're also quite waterproof (as ski gloves must be!).

It's not technically road legal (at least in France) because it's not certified CE but I'll take my chances with our beloved "Gendarmerie". Most of the outside is leather anyways for abrasion resistance.

Have look at sportsbike shop.... they have section on ride magazine reommended products....there all tested in that mag....if its very good gets a green triangle.... i am after buying weise nevada st jacket from sportsbike shop....its also a ride recommended product.. . They also have ride recommended gloves...on that site

I used some £30 buffalo ones last winter. Waterproof and warm, only issue is that the material isn't wide enough where the stitching is on the fingers and the seam usually pulls apart after 4 months, but as with all new products 12 months warranty

I exchanged mine twice first for a replacement and 2nd for a credit note. The credit note will be used again this year for the same gloves and I'll do the same again. 

They're super warm great feel to them too. I didn't buy them from this site but these are the gloves I'm talking about. I rode in -10 with them and had no issues but then again I also use heated grips albeit on a 50% setting rather than the usual 100% which I use with my leather summer gloves.

Some people hate these pig paws, but the do the job better than anything I've used during winter: Hein Gericke Pathan 3 gloves.

These are a little over budget, but primaloft is a 1st class insulator even when wet.
