Best exhaust for the CB
Hi People.
My original exhaust is dead. I have a Giannelli exhaust, but, the vibrations are strong with this exhaust, and the performance at highs RPM is very poor. ( but very funny on low-med RPM).
I need an exhaut that has a good sound, and also has the same performance as the original exhaust, without changing gas and air mixtures.
Is this possible? or all the non-original exhausts modify the behavior of the CB?
Thanks, and sorry for my English (I´m working on it)

Hi,
Just fitted a Delkevic full system to mine, all stainless, seems well made.
Removable baffle too.

Fitted link pipe and can of the Delkevic system with a 350mm can and no baffle.
Has a bit less mid range and the dead spot at around 5k seems bigger but after that it picks up nice all the way to redline.
Looking forward to getting the stainless downpipes soon/over winter

I have also just fitted link pipe and can of the Delkevic system to my 99S and i'm impressed with the sound and the running of the bike. Experienced a little bit of popping, which I understand is not unusual? So I changed the old air filter to a K&N. This reduced the piping but its still there on overrun. However the improvement in acceleration through the box has fantastically improved compared before the change. Reading older posts I understand the popping on overrun can be cured by a quarter turn on the idle mixture screws, is this correct? Regards Busby
