diagnose faulty CAR indicators? Empty diagnose faulty CAR indicators?

Post by geewhizz Thu 15 Feb 2018, 6:56 pm

I've an issue with my car indicators after a front end prang at the weekend. And I hate electrical issues.  I thought Id ask the good people here before checking the car forums.

The front end got a fair whack at one corner. The indicators seemed ok but the electrics have always been a bit iffy - when I put it all back together I firstly got one side working, and with a bit of bulb wiggling I got the other side, but now nothing works including the hazards nor the indicator flash when activating the central locking via the fob.
Fuses seem fine, although I'm not confident I've isolated the correct fuse, or the correct relay, but I did swap them about.

I've not checked if all the bulbs are now blown, but if they were this could be caused by...?

Otherwise I'm wondering if I damaged the wiring? Nothing obviously broken but the indicators were located in the bumper and one side got smashed in .

Multimeter is ready for action tomorrow.

Cheers for reading, and any input welcome...
