CB500S2 No power Empty CB500S2 No power

My bike has been in the shed over winter, tried the ignition switch nothing, checked the battery voltage and seems ok
Any ideas anyone ?

maybe try giving it a small push back and forth then hit the starter again. sounds silly but its not in gear and the kill switch is in the right position?

Could it be the key switch ? No Key switch Ok

30 Amp fuse blown, changed the fuse bike started ok but then smoke came out of the Regulator needs further investigation
Bike did run for about 10 mins no problem

Burnt contact on rectifier on red / white stripped cable terminal, any ideas of the cause
