What hoses go where?
Hi guys,
I've been a bloody fool.
I took the engine out too fix the issue a few posts back, it's now been revolved and put back in.
Bit of a major ballache but proud I atleast got the damn thing out and back in.
I did not however take pictures. I have indeed been an idiot and have learned my lesson.
I need to know where the hoses on the carb go, the air filter has 2 hose bits top and bottom (I have reattached the sub air filter)
I also cannot figure out where the neutral wire is meant to reattach (on the non battery side)
I have ordered a haynes manual which should help but any advice from you guys is vastly appreciated,
many thanks guys,
kindest regards,
-Scott

Re: What hoses go where?
What you need is the Honda workshop manual. Haynes does have some photographs but the Honda manual has diagrams drawn specifically to show you the routing of all hoses and cables and other components.
My copy is here for your viewing pleasure: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1j9oLhGZnsmd8bx3VP2QXs_xGQIejBTAB
Have a look first at 1-23, 'Cable and Harness Routing'. There are also helpful diagrams in the later chapters pertaining to each of the bike's systems.

Wow I need that! Yours is a CB500R. Do you also have a normal CB500 (pc32) ?
I got the Haynes service and repair manual book but I did not found such images in it... Or maybe I didn't search enough

Re: What hoses go where?
There's really very little difference between the PC26 and PC32. But I do have paper copies of the 'addenda' for the CB500-V and -W (I think).
When I get a mo I'll have a look but I'm *pretty* sure they don't contain any cable routing diagrams because you're meant to just look at the ones in the main manual. They really only just contain updated specification tables etc and sections specific to the rear disc brake and a couple of other things.
Indeed, the Haynes manual does not contain these kinds of useful diagrams.
