Hi everyone
Hello everyone,
I've just become the proud owner of a CB500 (class of '02), and I'm really happy to have found this forum! Last time I rode a bike it was the 1990's and 2-stroke oil was a-burning, so I've got quite a bit of rust to get off me as well as off the CB's frame... Looking forward to comparing notes with you all.

Re: Hi everyone
Glad to see that you've found the forum - hope we can be of use!
Rather like a two-stroke, the CB500 will respond well to being in the correct gear and at the 'right' revs - plus you might well need to 'thrash it', so I think you will get on fine

Re: Hi everyone
Welcome!
You have now reached motorcycle nirvana; A CB500 AND this forum
Seriously, the CB is a brilliant choice. Not only did I at one time see an article on Visordown stating the 'umble CB to be #1 Honda, trumping Fireblades, GoldWings and whatnot; my personal experience supports that claim. The bike seems to be hewn from Neverfailium. Again, supported by this record.
And then there's this forum. I'm biased, but I'll say you won't find anywhere else on the 'net with a comparable sum of knowledge. Possibly excluding ze German forum. But that's foreign language.
