    Hello, thanks for accepting me in the group.
    I am going to view a CB 500 S, and am a little worried about being 1,88 and 95 kg (6'2, 15 stones and inseam 33").
    Are there any tall riders in the group ?
    Please tell me about your experiences riding this bike. Have you made any modifications e.g. foot peg, taller seat or rising the bars ?

    Welcome Larsstigj
    I'm 1.90m and 107kg. I have rebuilt the saddle to raise the scalloped front seat in line with the rear seat which allows me to sit higher and further back than the standard arrangement.
    Also I have fitted dropped pegs which I got on ebay. This lowers the foot position by about 25mm.

    hello !

    195cm, 105Kg 
    no modifications except the handlebars, more straight than the original

    I ride with me feet resting on the fingers area  , not on the arch

    Thanks, I had a test ride today, and I agree that the best solution is to rebuild the saddle. Did you do it yourself or did you go to a shop ? I will probably see if I can find a shop that can do it.

    I recovered the seat myself. I bought the vinyl and a camping foam sleeping mat which I cut in layers to make up the right profile.
    I had to buy an electric stapler for the job - there are videos on Youtube explaining the procedure.
