Tyres
Hi all, I will be changing the tyres on my cb in the next month or two iam currently using Avon Roadriders which iam quite happy with, durability is good but iam not 100% confident in the grip department when pushing quite hard on the twisty's, I don't want to go back to bridgestone bt 45's because for all they were good for handling and grip I never got good milege out of them The back would square of pretty quick and the front would lose its profile especially over the tread blocks, Iam thinking about trying Michelin pilot active's as ive used them on one of my previous bikes a Yamaha diversion 600 which as it happens are the same size tyres as the cb, I was very happy with these on the Yamaha as they had a great balance between durability and grip I was just wandereing if they would have the same affect on the cb so anyone using or have used these on your cb your feedback would be much appreciated cheers colin.

Re: Tyres
My roadriders have loads of tread left but are cracked in the tread. Really ticked about it. Looking for new tyres and also considering the michelins so will see who else chimes in. I know the bridgestones are popular on here but they are not as good value as they used to be.

Re: Tyres
I can only speak about the larger pilot road 3s i have on my BMW and they are brill as i can get 14k miles out of a rear tire!
this beats previous bikes with bridgestone b45s and 020s etc!!
not sure how much difference the pilot active's are but if they are any thing like the Road versions then your onto a winner

Re: Tyres
yeah I had the pilot 3's on my dl 1000 vstrom they were a great tyre, There dual compound where the activ's are only single but as I said were great on the Yamaha diversion I think I will give them a try on the cb.
