Crash Bars Empty Crash Bars

So I have 'Heed' crash bars, they are big and strong and great in a crash but stick out abit too far, causing a loss of lean angle before they start to grind (with sparks). Has anybody fitted crash bars that don't affect clearance? I would love to hear what make etc. I see some German 'Fehling' ones on ebay, and I think you can get genuine Honda ones. Cheers
