Replacing coolant/antifreeze
Hi all,
Well, I decided to replace my coolant/antifreeze today as the previous owner of my bike warned me that he suspected it was only water and the expansion tank certainly only contained water.
The spring clip on the hose on the underside of the expansion tank was a nightmare to remove! It took me about 30 mins of wiggling.
Does anyone have any tricks to make this easier?

I've always found that the hose wiggles off without removing the clip to be honest...

I tend to use mole grips on spring clips. Makes it easier to get them along the pipe out of the way.

Hasn't it got one of those daft clips that you need to use circlip pliers on? Horrible things.

That's right. Really awkward! I might have to replace it with a jubilee clip if it ever comes off again!
